Cost of Ownership

EAGLE 2X Xtended Life Combustion & System Analyzer
The newly redesigned Eagle 2X Combustion System Analyzer eliminates the number one hassle for combustion contractors; the annual replacement and calibration of the O2 sensor. By replacing the electro chemical O2 sensor with the EOS Technology™ CO2 sensor, the EAGLE 2X now takes direct CO2 measurements and calculates the O2 level. This lowers the cost of ownership by doing away with the annual replacements of the O2 sensor and reducing calibration drifting typically found with standard electro-chemical sensors. The EOS Technology sensor is warranted for 5 years and has an unmatched industry-leading life expectancy of 10 years!

Product FAQs

How often do I need to send my analyzer in for repair?
UEi recommends annual calibration for flue gas analyzers.
How do I use this analyzer?
UEi includes typical test locations and target values as a general guide, but recommends consulting with equipment manufacturers for exact guidelines. We also have available a demonstration DVD that shows the Eagle/EagleX series in use on a variety of equipment.
How long do the sensors last?
This varies by model. Our newer models use IR based sensors with an expected life of 10 years or more. The CO sensors in these newer units have an expected 5 year life. Our traditional electrochemical sensor based analyzers have a one-year warranty on .
How do I send the analyzer in for repair?
UEi uses UPS, but accepts shipments from US Mail, Fed Ex, UPS and others. Please contact UEi to receive a return tracking number or complete the online request from our web site. We will provide instructions and an estimated cost based on the information.
Can I store my combustion analyzer in my service vehicle?
UEi recommends storing in a moderate temperature between 32~100F. If the temperature is expected to drop significantly below freezing or excessivly high it is recommended that the unit be brought inside.
How often do I need to change the particle filter?
Particle filters need to be changed based on use and the type of fuel. Natural gas burns very clean and will not block the filter fast, while heavy oil and solid fuels will require more frequent changes. Most of our filters will plug from the inside core.
